Recognizing the influence of societal expectations and personal tendencies is the first step toward nurturing your emotional well- being. By debunking motherhood myths and embracing self-compassion, self-care, a growth mindset, and the importance of seeking support, you can cultivate resilience and find joy in the beautiful chaos of motherhood. Remember, you are not alone, and with the right support, you can thrive as a mother and cherish the transformative experience of motherhood.”
Valeria interviews Dina Pataki — She is a Certified Integral Coach by New Ventures West (@University of Cape Town) and a Certified Specialist in Perinatal Mental Health by Postpartum Support International.
Dina has also trained in the Art of Holding Perinatal Women in Distress model with Karen Kleiman. She holds a B.A. Hons in Psychology and is the mother of two energetic boys! Her own experience of postpartum depression has prompted her to specialize in perinatal mental health. Dina’s passion is to support parents who experience mood challenges and struggle adjusting to parenthood. She also supports parents who find themselves in this phase of “reclaiming themselves”, once their little ones have grown a little bit. But they may feel confused, disoriented, and stuck, not knowing where to start from. Dina offers compassionate, insightful, and transformative coaching. Her method is integral, which is a holistic approach focusing on the mind, heart, and body.
