Treat Anxiety Without Medication

Licensed Marriage And Family Therapist (LMFT) and Speaker

Healing Conversation #1165

— “We want you to enjoy the contrasting experience, just like you enjoy the contrasting buffet. And we want you to reach the place (and practicing Virtual Reality will help you to gain this confidence) that whenever you’re in front of a buffet that has so much that you do like to eat, as well as some that you don’t like to eat, you don’t feel frustrated that there are things there you don’t want to eat. You don’t feel compelled to put them on your plate and eat them; you just pick the things that you like. And the Universe of thought is the same way. You can choose from it the things that you like.” ~ Ester Hicks 2003

Valeria interviews Leslie Davis — She is the author of “The Five Solutions: Manage Anxiety Without Medication.”

Leslie is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with 29 years experience.

She has worked at a few large organizations such as Kaiser, but chose to use her training in a meaningful way by going into private practice for 15 years. Leslie has always had an interest in new and cutting-edge techniques. Her training in EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing), Tapping, IFS (internal family systems), Compassionate Inquiry and (EFTC) Emotionally Focused Therapy for Couples has led her down a rich personal and professional path. She shares her views and successes in the hope of enlightening those on a similar journey.

Leslie resides in Sacramento, California. She loves cycling, hiking, reading, gardening (though she spends a lot of money on new plants), yoga, and cooking for friends.
