ABOUT THE TOPICS
We discuss topics related to physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health.
If needed, please visit the podcast page to learn about previously discussed topics.
RECORDING PLATFORM AND DURATION
Interviews are via Skype (audio only). They average 30-45 minutes.
Important Note: The quality of the guests' voices in each episode is largely dictated by their recoding tools and internet connection at the time of the interview.
Please follow the technical suggestions below.
MATERIALS REQUIRED: 6 Steps!
STEP ONE: Topic
Choose a topic you are interested in having a conversation about. Then, email me any material that support your topic: a copy of your book, a few pages of your book, blog links or articles.
The questions I choose to ask are relevant to the podcast's mission and audience. I usually look for specific passages in your book or materials.
Optional: You can also email me some suggestions for the questions. I will, most likely, rephrase them.
At the end of the interview, you can read a short passage from your book, please have it ready, if you would like to include that!
NOTE: I don’t share the questions before the interview. This is to keep the conversation as authentic and natural as possible.
STEP TWO: Podcast Release
Please download, complete, and sign the podcast release form. You can email me a good photo of both pages.
STEP THREE: How to Schedule Your Interview
To schedule your interview, please visit my online calendar below or contact me if you need special arrangements. If you are not able to see the calendar on this page, please CLICK HERE.
I host interviews most days of the week from 1PM to 7PM EST.
Note: I’ll be calling you at scheduled time. There is no need for confirmation. Every interview scheduled for which all materials have been submitted are also confirmed.
STEP FOUR: Bio and Headshot
Please send me your bio, headshot and preferred website link.
STEP FIVE: Connect on Skype
If you don’t have Skype, please CLICK HERE to download it.
If you already have Skype, please add me to your contacts or send me your Skype name or Skype email. My Skype name is valeria.koopman
You can also try to connect with me on Skype directly via this link: https://join.skype.com/invite/s9oyZLehVM3v
STEP SIX: Editing and Launch Materials Assistance
I ask my guests to assist with the editing and launch expenses of their own episode.
This is to compensate my team: audio engineers, graphic designer, intro voiceover and host storage.
CLICK HERE to send your editing and launch assistance: $125.
This is not an interview fee.
Sponsorship is a challenge. To maintain a standard quality of production for each interview is costly. For a while I was not able to publish any recorded episodes due to the lack of funds to pay my team.
If the editing/launch assistance is an impediment to our conversation, I can add you to my list of future interviews when I have sponsors.
Thank you so much for your kindness and understanding!

— The editing/launch assistance is non-refundable. If you need to cancel your interview, please notify me and reserve another date and time using my ONLINE CALENDAR. Thank you for your understanding!
ABOUT THE EDITING PROCESS
The time we dedicate to the editing process of each episode is required to achieve the best listening experience for the audience.
This is the longest and the most challenging aspect of the podcast production.
Some episodes might be ready to be released within a month after recording, while others might take two months. It all depends on how much work is needed to achieve the results we want.
This process includes reducing noise, pops, pauses, repeated words, distracting background sounds among other factors. We also add intros and outros to every episode before releasing them.
The work entails back and forth reviews, revisions, changes, and/or corrections between me and my audio engineers.
I appreciate your patience.
ON A TECHNICAL NOTE
— To maintain audio quality, I don’t use video on Skype. Please keep your camera off. Be comfortable! ☺
— Please use headphones to ensure good audio quality and choose a small room to record in. Large rooms produce too much echo thus reducing sound quality.
— Please make sure you choose a quiet place that will remain quiet for the duration of the interview. Birds singing in the background, however, are good!!!!! ☺
— If you’re able, please hardwire your computer into your router via an ethernet cable. This will ensure the highest speed and most reliable internet connection possible. If this is not possible, please keep in mind that the closer you are to your router the better the internet connection you will have.
— Also, please close or mute all applications that are running on your computer. This is especially important if you have applications open that might deliver notifications or sounds.
