Storytelling is medicine for the heart and a joy-awakening path.

Stories travel inward to touch parts of us that have been hidden, wounded, or forgotten and brings them back into waking life. A transformative story moves with surgical tenderness, locating the hurt and transmitting insights that can foster understanding, growth, purpose, and inner peace.

The most powerful stories are born of your own life — stained with struggle, loneliness, grief, or loss — and transformed into resilience, hope, and thriving. They arise from moments when you completed an impossible task and returned with hard-won wisdom.

Storytelling reveals our untamed spirit: fierce, intuitive, instinctive, and indestructible. And through storytelling, even after long dormancy, the soul can awaken to reclaim freedom, creativity, and joy.

When you tell stories with love, honesty, and courage, you do more than narrate experience — you offer a joy pathway for both yourself and others. A single truthful telling can open a door to resonate, remember, pause, and change; in giving voice to the soul, you reclaim your true self.

In our Storytelling Workshop, you will learn to retrieve vital fragments, shape them with care, and share them with clarity and compassion so that your story can be medicine for you and for the people who need it most.

Our 3-day Pilot Workshop to catalyze a series of workshops throughout the year is on March 27-29, 2026.

WHERE

Kaua‘i, Hawaii — a natural soul symphony — emerald mountains shrouded in mist, waterfalls spilling into hidden pools, and quiet beaches where ocean meets sky. The air smells of plumeria and salt; the rhythms of hula and surf invite stillness. Rooted in Aloha and ancestral care for the ʻāina, the island slows time, opens the heart, and calls you back to wonder, breathe, and soulful belonging.

Writers, creators, professionals, healers, cultural practitioners, elders and seekers of all kinds—anyone ready to turn life into SOUL medicine and speak and write from the heart with clarity and compassion.

Live Storytelling — Soulful, Entertaining and Transformative

We’ll present and explore the spoken word as our primary storytelling method, honoring the oral traditions many cultures relied on to transmit wisdom. Beyond entertainment, soul stories carry medicine for the heart. They are living truths that can heal and inspire.

Collaborative Creation

Stories grow richer when co‑authored. You will practice collaborative narrative techniques, learning how to build scenes, voices, and meaning together. 

Visual Storytelling

A single, powerful photograph can capture a specific moment and tell a whole story. Participants will share their art to tell their story. 

Active listening 

Listening is active work: empathy, imagination, and emotional attunement. You’ll practice listening skills that deepen connection and help stories land — listening with “three ears”: two on our head and one in our heart.
