WORKSHOP / RETREAT DETAILS

DAY 1: THE CONCEPT OF CONNECTION

Live recordings — video & audio — From 1pm to 5pm

Each participant presents and explains their understanding of connection as a concept, followed by a Q&A session and group discussion.

SAMPLE QUESTIONS:

  • What is the nature of feeling connected?

  • What facilitates the exploration of connection?

  • What are the signs of disconnection?

  • What qualities define human nature?

  • The question is not “What is wrong with him or her?” But rather, “What happened to them?” — Open Discussion.

DAY 2: THE EXPERIENCE OF CONNECTION

Live recordings — video & audio — From 1pm to 5pm

Participants illustrate what connection feels and looks like from their perspective, followed by a Q&A session and group discussion.

Storytelling, poems, metaphors, visual arts, music, dance, and other forms of media will be utilized to show the experience of connection to those who are present, as well as those who watch the video recording later.

From the moment we walk in the workshop space to the moment we say goodbye, we will be committed to bringing to life the meaning of connection through our presence. As this is the heart of these meetings, ask yourself: How much of your understanding of connection can you embody throughout this retreat?

It takes great courage to be authentic. In doing so, we become living evidence of truth that can benefit, support, and transform humanity.

These meetings are not about being perfect, healed, or enlightened—it is about being present and curious about how much of our truth we are ready to express in each moment.

SAMPLE QUESTIONS:

  • What has been your own experience of being/feeling connected?

  • What has been your own experience of being/feeling disconnected?

  • What is the best story that can you share about connection?

  • When do you feel most connected to yourself?

  • What makes you feel connected in the present moment?

  • How does one show an authentic connection to oneself, to others, and to the world?

DAY 3: THE AUTHENTICITY IN CONNECTION

From 1pm to 5pm — No recordings

This day is less structured. As a group, we will meet on the beach to process and share our insights from day one and day two about the meaning of connection and what our direct experience has been like.

Participants are invited to share their feedback about how others expressed connection during days one and two. This is a moment for authentic feedback, sharing insights, and revelations.

The goal is to truthfully and kindly support one another while we cultivate an experience that is ultimately more connected, cohesive, wholesome, and joyful.

SAMPLE QUESTIONS:

  • How would you describe the authentic self after our two-day gathering?

  • What or who inspired you to be more connected to yourself and others?

  • What experience, story, speech, or presentation impacted you most?

  • What insights have you gained from our meetings?

DAYS: 4 & 5: OPEN TO GROUP WISDOM

No recordings

We, as a group, are open to creating our activities for these two days. I feel that, as a group, we carry powerful wisdom able to guide each participant into their calling for that particular moment in time.

The principle here is to deeply listen to ourselves and connect from a place of truth and freedom.

Participants are also invited to just be. :)
