David Ebenbach is the author of seven books of fiction, poetry, and non-fiction, including the recent novel Miss Portland, “a moving paean to becoming the place where you belong. Zoe’s life has been a quest for meaning, driven by the manic highs and throttling lows of bipolar disorder" (Foreword Reviews).
He has won such writing awards as the Drue Heinz Literature Prize, the Juniper Prize, and an Individual Excellence Award from the Ohio Arts Council. He lives with his family in Washington, DC, where he teaches creative writing and literature at Georgetown University.
