The great news is that a 2014 study by the National Institutes of Health concluded that prediabetes can in fact be reversed naturally through natural food choices, saying ‘no’ to sugar and simple carbs, and incorporating some exercise. So take control of your prediabetes instead of letting it control you. Making small changes, such as planning your meals, eating a diet with no (or very little) sugar as well as low in simple carbs, can have a huge impact on your life. Johanna grew up in Germany on a small farm. Her mom grew a variety of veggies in her garden and small greenhouse, which is something Johanna has only come to fully appreciate as an adult.
