“When we learn to work with our own Inner Nature, and with the natural laws operating around us, we reach the level of Wu Wei. Then we work with the natural order of things and operate on the principle of minimal effort. Since the natural world follows that principle, it does not make mistakes. Mistakes are made–or imagined–by man, the creature with the overloaded Brain who separates himself from the supporting network of natural laws by interfering and trying too hard.” – Benjamin Hoff, The Tao of Pooh

Ken worked as a coach and consultant for transition consulting firms and helped people and organizations flow with change. He went into numerous companies and saw that many were unconsciously working against human nature. Mental health/disability claims are skyrocketing, employee engagement and productivity gains are hard to achieve, most organizational change initiatives fail and many of business products and services damage our environment.
A vivid dream of a new life compelled Ken to drive 4000 kilometers and move from the big City of Toronto to the West Coast. He met and married the woman who had appeared in his dream and moved to a secluded rural part of Vancouver Island to follow love. Then life humbled him with multiple unexpected challenges. Nature surrounded him and began to reveal the beauty and wisdom of her effective, efficient and effortless way of health and growth, which mystics have written about for thousands of years. A wise mentor appeared and challenged Ken to write a paragraph about his experience and leadership philosophy. He discovered that he loved to write and the solitary paragraph grew into his first book, “The Way of Effortless Leadership: Ancient Secrets on Cultivating a Culture of Trust, Engagement and Flow.”
While Ken was completing his first book, he heeded a strong calling to travel to Ecuador to do something far outside his worldview. He sat on a mountain top high in the Andes with shamans and had transformative peak experiences that and revealed to him that there is more to the world than meets the eye and that energy, information and love unifies everything and everyone. He returned home inspired and trained in Hypnotherapy and Reiki. In honour of the eye-opening experience, he wrote and is editing his second book “Remember, You Are Me," a mystical adventure about a man's journey from everyday reality into the supernatural realm and back.
