— Being grateful is synonymous with expressing our feelings for others and for ourselves. We can also feel a lot better about ourselves and our lives by simply speaking words of love and praise to others. In order to feel grateful, you must feel the right way, about the right things, and at the right time. Motivation and self-discipline are inextricably linked. Although it does not provide instant relief from pain or stress, it gives us the feeling of being in control again. Gratitude gives us control over our lives by acknowledging and appreciating our assets. By acknowledging and appreciating our assets, gratitude empowers us. In the words of Robin Sharma: “Gratitude drives happiness. Happiness boosts productivity. Productivity reveals mastery. And mastery inspires the world.”
